We recently ordered a lounge from this store, but unfortunately when it arrived, it was completely different from what we had selected and paid for. The design, overall finish did not match our order at all. When we contacted the owner to discuss the issue, he refused to acknowledge the mistake and did not take responsibility. Instead of trying to resolve the problem, he was rude and dismissive in his response. Very disappointing experience, both with the product and the customer service. I would not recommend this store based on how this situation was handled.

I had been looking for a recliner for a couple of years, without success. But at Sydney Lounge Specialist I found exactly what I wanted: a double recliner with a "console" in the middle to hold TV remotes, pens, etc. Most recliners are big, with fat padded arms, taking up a lot of space, but my new furniture has slim (but comfortable) arms, and fits easily in my apartment. The factory made an armchair to match, all in the industrial strength upholstery fabric I had chosen. (I did not want the more usual black leather.) The recliner is the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in, & the service from Luis at the showroom was outstanding. He is knowledgeable & efficient & easy to keep in touch with throughout choosing, ordering & delivery.

The fabric feels high-quality and has held. up well so far. The modern design and colour perfectly. complements my living room.. We are so so happy with our two lounges purchased from Luis at Sydney Lounge Specialist, Wetherall Park. Luis’s level of customer service was exceptional. Luis took the time to understand what we were looking for and then explain the various differences between lounges and walked us through different options before we made our final choice. We choose two lounges from the MIA range. The MIA 3 and 4. Unlike dealing with large furniture store retailers, with Sydney Lounge Specialist we were able to make custom changing to the lounges. For me being a taller guy, Luis suggested increasing the height of the kick board for greater comfort and with the MIA 4, we choose to change the seat cushions from 2 to 3. The hardest decision was with fabric choice but again Luis was on hand to explain the differences in quality. In the end, we opted for a Warwick Keylargo fabric (Marigold) as seen in the photo. The fabric is described as heavy grade commercial and rated to 160,000 rubs which is exceptional. The finished lounges were delivered on time and the set up was hassle free with all the packaging taken away. The quality of the lounges is outstanding and we have received so many compliments from friends and family. They simply look and feel luxurious, comfortable, and are beautifully made. We highly recommend Luis to anyone looking for high-quality lounges. His expertise and dedication to customer satisfaction are second to none. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase! We thoroughly recommend Sydney Lounge Specialist! We recently decided to purchase a new lounge. Rather than purchasing a lounge ‘off the floor’ in a retail outlet, we investigated where we could view a range of different designs, and choose the fabric we’d like the lounge to be covered in. After searching on Google for no more than a few seconds, the website for Sydney Lounge Specialist appeared, and as they say, ‘the rest is history’. This business appeared to cater for exactly what we were looking for. So, within a day or two, we headed from where we reside in the Southern Highlands to this business in Wetherill Park. We were surprised to be able to park our car right outside the front door of the showroom. Consequently, within a minute or two, we were browsing amongst a wide range of lounges of different shapes, sizes and designs. Daniella, the daughter of one of the owners, Luis, was on duty during our visit. She was friendly, personable, patient and helpful. Within the first hour, we decided to purchase two electric recliners and one 2-seater lounge in the ‘Ambassador’ design. We also decided to purchase one Elizabeth Wing Chair. We then spent over an hour looking at literally hundreds of different fabric samples. We’d no sooner make a decision, then we’d see another fabric, and we’d change our mind. All the while, Daniella was on hand to obtain per metre prices, and to show us even more samples. She was tolerant and patient with our indecisiveness. We finally decided to have the lounge and recliners covered in one particular fabric, and the Elizabeth Wing Chair covered in another design of fabric. We ordered two 45cm x 45cm scatter cushions in each fabric, to help tie the chair and lounge together in our loungeroom. We also ordered two antimacassars to protect our recliners from stains from any hair products in our hair. Daniella created a detailed order form, and notified us that the items we’d chosen would take approximately four weeks to make. We signed the order form, and paid the necessary deposit. Our items were completed within the timeframe we were originally told, and they were delivered to our home by a transport company that Sydney Lounge Specialist uses for the delivery of their products. The driver was friendly and helpful. Not only did he place all the items in our loungeroom where we wanted them, but he also took the time to unwrap each item, and then proceeded to plug in both electric recliners to check that they both worked correctly. Before departing, he took all the wrapping materials back in his truck with him. After dinner that evening, we relaxed in our new electric recliners. Within no time we were dozing off in front of the TV – a sure sign that they are comfortable! They are well made, feel solid and ooze quality. For the price we paid for the different items, we feel we received value for money. We would not hesitate to recommend Sydney Lounge Specialist! We’re sure you won’t regret using this company when you next require a new lounge or occasional chair!

Absolutely in love with my new sofa! I stumbled across Sydney Lounge Specialist in my Google search when I wasn’t happy with any of the retail options. Danielle was super helpful and I was able to customise one of the sofas in their showroom, by adding a chaise lounge and choosing the fabric and cushion firmness. I also got 2 feather cushions in the same fabric, but different colour. It only took 4 weeks for delivery and the delivery guys were punctual, friendly and efficient. Did quite a bit of research and had obtained a few quotes before I found Luis at Sydney Lounge Specialists. Luis was extremely patient and thoroughly explained all the options. I ordered a 3 and 2 seater custom made Parker lounges. They arrived within two weeks to my exact specs and look fantastic. After purchasing our lounge in 2018 - I can gladly say that our lounge is still going strong (2024) even after two growing toddlers, pets and guests alike it honestly has been such a great lounge.
